Rhythmically Speaking and sound collective have created an exciting modern working partnership, which provides excellence and expertise in education provided by world-class musicians and performers.

The two organisations believe that music is an important and inspirational medium that has a positive effect on people of any age or background. Our aim is to bridge the gap between audience and musicians through education with an emphasis on inclusion, creativity and fun.

The wide range of musical talent of sound collective's performers, and the inspirational education working practices of Rhythmically Speaking, enables us to provide a wide range of workshops and projects.
This includes:

• 1. introducing children and adults to live music
• 2. working and recording with composers from KS1 to A-level
• 3. National Curriculum topic based projects
• 4. involving children in concerts with the ensemble
• 5. working with people in the community.

Participants will benefit from working with committed professional musicians of the highest calibre who have backgrounds and working relationships with major universities, music conservatoires and world-class orchestras.

Projects can be personalised to the requirements of individual schools, music festivals and organisations. By utilizing the music that sound collective is performing at the core of a project we can create a structure and practical comprehension of music making in the 21 st Century.
